In a statement, the FDA said that it has determined that counterfeit versions of the drug, sold under the brand names Viagra, Cialis and Levitra, can be dangerous. The warning is based on findings from a study conducted at the National Institute on Drug Abuse that found that counterfeit Viagra can have a significant and deadly impact on patients who have low sexual desire, sexual problems, or other medical conditions.
